WATCH THIS! NGO Voices on Climate Finance & Carbon Markets #20 – October 2017

Editorial

Dear partners, dear friends,

Welcome to the 20th edition of our Watch This! Newsletter.

In this edition, we introduce two of Carbon Market Watch’s new working topics: international shipping emissions and carbon pricing. On both issues, the involvement of the network will be key, as a vital counterweight to the interests of emitting industries. Stay tuned for future capacity building work, such as webinar, and common initiatives!

In another article, we will also report on the Green Climate Fund’s July board meeting. As you will read, the fund is still far from including civil society input. Indeed quite the opposite.

I wish you happy reading. Should you have any questions, suggestions, particular areas of interest, or proposals for articles, please contact me.

Happy reading!

Pierre-Jean, Network Coordinator
