Plantar S.A. CDM project: Global warming continues unabated

With an attempt to avoid the registration of one of the most controversial CDM projects ever, a group of individuals, organizations, movements and networks representing Brazilian society, together with international supporters from the North and South, vehemently oppose the approval of the project presented by Plantar S.A. to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Executive Board, entitled “Cultivated Biomass as a Renewable Source of Energy for Pig Iron Production”.  You can dowload the letter that was sent to the CDM Executive Board here dowload pdf file.
