Nature Code Launch & Public Film Screening!

Dear friends,

It is our pleasure to invite you to a celebratory evening where we will officially launch our new non-profit association:

Monday 22 July 2013, from 6:00-10pm
at Mundo-B in the Cafeteria
Rue d’Edimbourg 26, 1050 Bruxelles

We will be screening two short documentary films, providing a bit of food, drink and music afterwards, giving us all the opportunity to connect with each other and share a good time with you, our friends and colleagues!

The evening entails…

  • 6:00 pm – Welcome drink & snacks

 

  • 7:00 pm – Film screening of
    RECODE (9mins 56)
    This is Nature Code’s first educational documentary which takes a fresh look at forest carbon, exploring the initiatives currently being developed to reduce emissions through forest resources. More details at www.re-code.org

 

  • 7:15 pm – Film screening of
    The Timbaktu Collective (22mins)

    This is a film made by Delhi-based filmmakers Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh  and inspired by the Timbaktu Collective, an organization Nature Code is currently working with. It carries the idea of developing alternative, practical and sustainable models of development. The intimate relationship between farmers and their land, forms the scope of this documentary film.

 

  • 7:45 pm – Meeting the Nature Code team and General Assembly members for a chat, and to have a drink and listen to some music!
