Draft mechanism methodology: Energy efficiency measures in household cooking – CMW submission

This is Carbon Market Watch’s submission to the Article 6.4 mechanism of the Paris Agreement’s draft methodology on energy efficiency measures in household cooking.

Committed to ensuring this new methodology is grounded in robust science and avoids the pitfalls of its predecessors, we commissioned researchers Annelise Gill-Wiehl and Barbara Haya, whose extensive expertise in cookstove carbon crediting is globally recognised, to conduct a detailed technical analysis of the proposed draft. Our submission in the attached pdf combines their critical findings with CMW’s own recommendations.
