Bursting bubble

BURSTING SOAP BUBBLE…EXETER, UK: These super-slow-motion pictures show in stunning detail every detail of a bursting soap-bubble. The intriguing photographs show each stage of the bubble as it disappears and were taken by bubble-master Richard Heeks, from Exeter, who patiently shot the sequence in his back garden. To get the unique pictures patient Richard used a macro camera to get in close and patiently waited for a windless day. And to make certain he wasn’t chasing wayward bubbles around all day, he found a secluded spot behind his home where sudden gusts could hardly be felt.
A fast shutter speed of 1/500th of a second made sure he was able to freeze-frame the watery-mass as it shrank away, eventually leaving just soapy droplets hanging in the air.
